We are pleased to inform you that the 14th Concawe Symposium will take place online on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th September 2021.
The 2021 virtual edition of the Concawe Symposium will focus on Europe’s climate neutrality ambition, Concawe’s low-carbon pathways, and sustainable alternative fuel technologies.
The Symposium will feature four sessions:
- Session 1: Exploring the contribution of the EU refiners to the 2050 climate neutrality objectives.
- Session 2: Assessing low carbon technologies: which barriers and how to enhance development and scale-up.
- Session 3: Transitioning to a low carbon future for maritime and aviation.
- Session 4: Alternative feedstock and fuels: a look into future needs, GHG savings potential and sustainable availability.
This two-day event will be a unique opportunity to bring together inspiring speakers, and representatives from industries, academia, EU institutions and technology providers to discuss the transformation of the European refining industry to address the challenges and objectives of Europe’s 2050 climate neutrality ambition.
